This 672 pounds of seed ootton will make at least 200 pounds of lint, wbieh at 15 cents cor pound, will give thirty (30) dollars. This sum is the gain per acre of an acre manured with Whann'a Raw Bone, over and above that whioh an namanured acre would yield. But we must pay for the gnano out of this $30. . The ooet of this, (including hauling, Ae.,1 was f 13 80; deduotinir this sum from $30 leaves $17 20 as the ciosr profit the return for tbe Ms of whann s Baw Bone. ; " But it most be borne in mind that we had 672 pounds of seed ootton alter deduct ins the amount made upon the unmaaared aore, and in reducing it to lint we threw off 472 pounds for tbe weight of seed. Adding this to the above sum of $17 20 gives $20 00 as the whole gained per aore by tbe use of Haw JJone. Besides this we may expect some gain in tbe crop of the snoceed ing tear."' t. . I feel confident that tbe ,Mapes repaid me notwithstanding that it gave tbe small eat yield, and I consider it the poorest of the seven different Fertilizers used.'. My motto is: Try all tbiogs; hold fast to.that which is good. I used nothing but Whann'a Baw Bone (I mean of commercial Fermi zers) in my general crop this season, and I am so well pleased that I shall nse it more freely in future. But at the same time I expect to raise all the manure I can on my farm,, and would teoammend every farmer to do likewise. I need Wbann's Baw Bone in different quantities per acre, and I found that where tbe largest quantity wav applied, tbe re- suit was most satisfactorywt paid the best.
